How much does TikTok Shop charge sellers in 2026?
A 6% referral fee for most categories — that is the whole platform fee, with no separate payment-processing charge. Selected Jewelry subcategories and all Pre-Owned categories pay 5%, and the portion of a single Pre-Owned or Collectibles sale above $10,000 is charged at 3%.
Did TikTok Shop raise its referral fee to 8%?
Not in any official source we can verify. As of our last verification in October 2026, TikTok Shop's official Seller Center fee page still lists 6% for most US categories, and we found no official announcement of an 8% rate — so this site does not use one. If TikTok publishes a change, it will appear in our fee change log.
Is there a payment processing fee on TikTok Shop?
No separate one. The referral fee is TikTok Shop's all-in platform fee; unlike Etsy or eBay, there is no additional per-transaction processing percentage or fixed fee.
What happens to the fee when an order is refunded?
The referral fee is refunded, but TikTok Shop keeps a refund administration fee of 20% of the original referral fee, capped at $5 per SKU.
