Referral fees by category

Amazon charges a referral fee on every sale. You pay whichever is higher: the percentage fee for the category, or the per-item minimum referral fee. Most categories carry a $0.30 minimum; a few (including Media, Video Games and Gift Cards) have none. Tiered categories are charged by price band or on the portion of the price in each tier, as shown.

FBA fulfillment fees — official example rates

The rows below are example rates: they are the product examples Amazon itself publishes on its official FBA fee page, not a rate card you can look your own product up in. Amazon publishes the complete size-tier × weight-band × price-band table inside Seller Central, and fulfillment fees depend on your product's exact size tier, shipping weight and price band. Non-peak rates run January 15 to October 14, 2026; peak rates run October 15, 2026 to January 14, 2027.

Because the full table is only available to signed-in sellers, our FBA calculator does not pretend to reproduce it: it uses these official example rates, clearly labelled, and asks you to confirm your product's exact fulfillment fee in Seller Central or Amazon's Revenue Calculator.

Monthly storage fees

FBA monthly inventory storage fees vary by size tier, time of year and how long inventory has been stored, and Amazon publishes the current table in Seller Central. We do not quote a storage rate here — third-party figures conflict and we only publish numbers we can verify against an official public page. In the calculator, storage is a per-unit cost you enter yourself, based on your own Seller Central storage reports.

Official sources

Every rate on this page comes from the platform's own official pages — no third-party fee guides:

How we verify & limitations

Rates on SellKitHub live in one central data file. Each rate carries its official source and was last verified in October 2026; the whole schedule is re-verified quarterly, and any change is recorded in our fee change log. The complete FBA fulfillment tier table and the monthly storage fee table are published by Amazon inside Seller Central; both are flagged on this page rather than reproduced from third-party copies.

Frequently asked questions

What is Amazon's referral fee in 2026?

It depends on the category: 15% for most categories, 8% for Consumer Electronics and Computers, 12% for Automotive, up to 45% for Amazon Device Accessories, with tiered rates for Clothing, Jewelry, Watches and others. You pay the greater of the percentage fee or the per-item minimum referral fee, which is $0.30 for most categories and none for a few, including Media, Video Games and Gift Cards.

Why doesn't this page show the full FBA fulfillment fee table?

Amazon publishes the complete size-tier × weight-band × price-band fulfillment table inside Seller Central, behind a seller login. Rather than copy a third-party version we cannot verify, this page shows the product examples from Amazon's official public FBA fee page, labelled as example rates, and the calculator asks you to confirm your exact fee in Seller Central.

How much are Amazon FBA monthly storage fees?

Storage fees vary by size tier, season and storage duration, and Amazon publishes the current table in Seller Central. We do not quote a storage rate because we could not verify one from an official public page — enter your own per-unit storage cost in the calculator, from your Seller Central storage reports.

What is the minimum referral fee?

For most categories Amazon charges at least $0.30 per item: if 15% of your price works out to less than $0.30, you pay $0.30. Some categories have no minimum, including Media (Books, DVD, Music, Software, Video), Video Games and Gaming Accessories, Grocery and Gourmet, Video Game Consoles and Gift Cards.
