How it works

Poshmark charges a single commission in two tiers, based only on the sale price — the shipping the buyer pays is not part of the fee base:

Commission = $2.95 flat when the sale price is under $15
Commission = 20% × sale price when the sale price is $15 or more
Your earnings from Poshmark = sale price − commission
Profit = your earnings − item cost − shipping discount you offer − packaging cost

Watch the $15 cliff: a $14.99 sale pays $2.95 in commission, while a $15.00 sale pays $3.00 at 20% — crossing the threshold by one cent costs five cents more in commission. Below the threshold, the flat fee is a larger share of small sales: on a $12 sale, $2.95 is 24.6% of the price. The commission is all-in — Poshmark covers the card processing fees and provides a prepaid, pre-addressed shipping label, so there is no separate processing fee to add.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Poshmark charge to sell?

Poshmark charges a flat commission of $2.95 for all sales under $15. For sales of $15 or more, the commission is 20% of the sale price. There are no listing fees. Figures on this page were verified Oct 2026 against Poshmark's official support page.

Does Poshmark charge a separate payment processing fee?

No. The Poshmark commission is all-in: Poshmark covers the card processing fees as part of the commission, so there is no separate payment-processing fee on top of the $2.95 flat fee or the 20% commission.

Who pays for shipping on Poshmark?

The buyer pays for standard shipping through Poshmark's prepaid, pre-addressed shipping label, so standard shipping does not reduce your earnings. If you offer a buyer a shipping discount, that discount is deducted from your earnings — enter it in the calculator to see the effect on your profit.

Is it worth selling items under $15 on Poshmark?

It can be, but the flat fee takes a bigger bite on low-priced sales. On a $12 sale the $2.95 flat fee is 24.6% of the price — more than the 20% rate charged on sales of $15 or more. Price low-value items with that effective rate in mind, and check the effective commission rate in the calculator before you list.

How we calculate & limitations

Worked example: A $40.00 sale → commission $8.00 at 20%. With $12.00 item cost and $0.50 packaging, profit is $19.50.

Assumptions & limitations: The commission is calculated on the sale price only; the buyer's shipping charge is not part of the base. Standard shipping is paid by the buyer through Poshmark's prepaid label and does not reduce seller earnings; a shipping discount you offer is deducted from your earnings and is a manual input here. If a package weighs over 5 lb, an upgraded label is required and the price difference is charged to the seller at Poshmark's rates — check the amount in the Poshmark app, as no official figure is quoted here.
